A long overdue review but after purchasing a car for my 17 yo daughter from Oaks in the summer of 2024 I wanted to say a massive thank you to Andy and team who were first class from start to finish.My Daughter is overjoyed with her first car which has been faultless in the 6 months of use so far.I would thoroughly recommend Oaks as trustworthy sellers with their customers interest at heart, especially when looking for 'first-time driver' cars.

This is the second vehicle we have had from The Oaks, they have decent vehicles, a range of budgets, no pressure whatsoever to sell you the vehicle. Went out of their way to show us the cars we made an appointment to see, purchased and drove away that day. All paperwork handled efficiently, would recommend.

Andy was very efficient and helpful as we organized the purchase of our new car by email. When we arrived to finish the deal we were looked after by Katy who also proved to be both friendly and efficient. It was really a very enjoyable buying experience and we are now enjoying our new car!

I highly recommend the Oaks Motor Company, Andy and Katie were friendly and genuine and it was a very pleasant car buying experience for us. The car was exactly as advertised and immaculately presented. We paid for the car straight after the test drive and drove it away the same day, as all their cars are ready to go. They have a great range of cars and I will definitely be back when we replace the wife’s car next year.

Theyre very friendly and thoughtful, they keep your best interests in mind and they always have advice to impart with you. I think because I was set on the car I wanted, it was easier but I can tell Katie and her partner were fantastic at their jobs and would have given me recommendations if I needed. Andy clearly knows his land rovers. Good info given, answered all my questions without any jargon or sales patter - just factual and honest. There was no pressure applied to me to buy, no pushy sales tactics. Happy to do an extended road test - we were out for 40 mins but offered longer if I needed it. I went 90% intending to purchase, and it was ME that made the decision to buy in the end. I am happy to recommend Andy and co.

I bought a Ford Ka for my grandson from The Oaks Motor Company. The car was well presented, and competitively priced (so no haggling). There was no pressure selling and the whole buying/selling process was smooth, professional and not pushy at all. The car came with a six month comprehensive warranty, which gives peace of mind when buying a ten year old car. All in all, a pleasant buying experience.

I recently purchased a 10 year old car from Katie and Andy. They made sure the vehicle was road worthy and safe to use. I picked the car up and they were both accommodating and friendly.
Unfortunately, after a short while, the part they had replaced, before I collected it was becoming an issue! It turned out to be a faulty part and had to be returned to the manufacturer.
During this time, Andy and Katie provided me with a courtesy car due to me working for the NHS.
The communication was exemplary and they kept me up to date with regular messages and calls. When I collected my car, they noticed some other small issues that they rectified, which was a lovely personal touch.
Katie and Andy have a customer for life!!

I passed my driving test in February and bought my first car here in March. Everyone was so lovely and didn’t try and trick me like many places would with a young female new driver! Shortly after purchasing, a few warning lights appeared on my dash, I contacted the team as I had a warranty. They immediately got the car booked in to be looked at, identified the issue and started to fix it (which turned out to be a bit of a faff with incorrect parts arriving in the post etc). The family who run this place care so much about their customers, they felt awful keeping me waiting for the issue to be fixed (even though I didn’t mind too much) they offered to swap me to a new car or offered me a partial refund if it couldn’t be fixed! I found this to be above and beyond generous. Luckily, my car was able to be fixed in the end so it all got sorted When the time comes for me to get my second car in life? I will 100% be coming back to the oaks

Purchased a 2016 Ford Focus from Oaks Motor Company at the end of April. It was an excellent drive from the outset, other than the engine management light that came up and a clutch issue, both of which only became apparent after a few weeks and a lot of miles. Andy at Oaks went out of his way to sort out these faults, including replacing the clutch, and taking the car in several times and investigating the EML in depth. A first replacement catalytic converter turned out to be faulty, and the second sorted out the EML. All at no cost to me. Highly recommended if you ever need to buy a used car.

Very good Service from this Company. Delighted with my new car. Andy was brilliant whilst taking me out for a test drive, and had a good sense of humour whilst I battled with where all the controls were. He let me inspect the car properly, and no hard sell, which I appreciated. The whole process was pain-free other than looking like I had never driven a car in my life!!
